Unplug the appliance before assembling or
disassembling it and before cleaning or servicing
the unit.
Engine driven appliances: beware of sharp and/or
moving parts. Always keep your hands away from
the moving parts when using, cleaning or servicing
the appliance.
Heating devices: wait until the appliance has cooled
down before you touch the housing and parts of
the unit.
Be extra careful during cleaning and servicing.
INTRODUCTION
This hand mixer is suitable for mixing as well
as kneading and pureeing. The appliance has an
output of 400W and has 5 different speeds. There
are 2 whisks, 2 dough hooks and 1 hand blender
attachment for various purposes, such as making
whipped and other cream, egg whites, cake batter
or soup.

2. Speed control/On-Off switch

9. Flap for hand blender attachment
10. Stainless steel hand blender attachment
11. Knife unit
FIRST TIME USE
Unpack the mixer carefully and remove all the
packaging materials.
Clean all the accessories of the appliance in
warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry these before
using the mixer.
USE
When using the 1-5 speed positions, the mixer
should not be used for more than three minutes
continuously. Switch off the mixer and allow the
motor to cool.
SWITCH
The mixer has a multi-position switch.
The following positions are available for the mixer:
0. The appliance is switched off
1. Very low speed
2. Low speed
3. Average speed
4. Medium-high speed
5. High speed
The hand blender is switched on with the TURBO
button and has only one speed.
USE AS A HAND MIXER
Put the hook with the fixed ring in the largest
opening. This applies to both the beaters and the
dough hooks. (Fig. 2)
SELECTING THE ACCESSORIES
Whisks (See Fig. 3):
Suitable for thin or liquid mixtures, such as cream,
batter, potato mash, egg whites or whipped cream.
Dough hooks (See Fig. 3):
The dough hooks are used for kneading dough.
Make sure that the speed control is switched
off and that the appliance is not connected to an
electricity socket.
Push the dough hooks, one by one, in the
designated holes. You do this by placing the
dough hook in the opening at the bottom of the
mixer. Turn the dough hook slightly and push it
inside until it clicks in place. Repeat this for the
second dough hook.
Insert the plug into the wall socket.
Place the ingredients in a bowl that is suited for
mixing. Take hold of the mixer handle and place
the dough hooks in the middle of the ingredients
to be mixed.
Slide the speed button during mixing until you
find the desired speed.
The turbo button gives you direct access to
maximum power on the appliance.
When you have finished using the mixer, switch
the speed control to “0”, which is “off”.
Remove the plug from the socket.
To remove the dough hooks from the mixer you
must push the eject button.
USE AS A HAND BLENDER
Before assembly or disassembly of the hand
blender attachment, always switch off the mixer
and remove the plug from the electricity socket.
Slide the flap at the back of the mixer upward
and attach the hand blender attachment by
sticking it in the opening and turning it clockwise.
(See Fig. 4)
Switch the speed button to the blender position,
which is left of the “0” position. Push the TURBO
button to switch on the hand blender.
To stop using the hand blender, let go of the
turbo button and remove the attachment by
turning it counter-clockwise.
