Important !

before using the appliance and save them
for future reference.
This appliance complies with international
safety standards
Before using for the first time, check if the
voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to
the mains voltage in your home. This appliance
must be connected to an earthed socket.
If it is absolutely necessary to use an extension
cable, make sure that it is suitable for 10 A or
more and has a socket with an earth connec--
tion.
This appliance must only be used for the
purposes it was designed, i.e. as an iron. Any
other use will be considered as improper and
consequently dangerous. The manufacturer will

from misuse or improper use.
The electrical plug must not be removed from
the socket by pulling the cable.
Do not leave the appliance exposed to weather
conditions ( rain, sun , frost, etc ).
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it
is plugged in.
Keep the appliance out of children’s reach.
This appliance is not intended to be used by

sical, sensory or mental capacities, or lack of

they do not play with the appliance.
Remove the plug from the socket before filling
the appliance with water or before pouring out
the remaining water after use.
Never immerse the iron or the station in water
or any other fluid.
The appliance must never be placed under the

When you have finished ironing, and also when
leaving the iron even for a short while:
- set variable temperature dial to minimum.
- switch the main switch to the –off- position.
- place the iron on its support on the appli-

placed by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
When turned on for the first time, your new iron
may smell for up to 10 minutes. This is due to
the initial heating of the used materials. The
odor is safe and should not reoccur after initial
heating. Moreover, the iron may emit some small
particles from the steam holes. This is normal
and will not occur after several times using the
¨steam¨ function.
Do not aim iron at other persons or towards
yourself, while using the ¨steam¨ function.
The filling lid must not be opened during use.
The appliance must be used and placed on a
