Congelar y guardar
alimentos
Puntos a tener en cuenta al
comprar alimentos
ultracongelados
■ Prestar atención a que la envoltura del
alimento o producto congelado no
presente ningún tipo de daño.
■ Verifique la fecha de caducidad de los
alimentos. Cerciórese de que ésta no
ha vencido.
■ La indicación de la temperatura del
congelador del establecimiento en
donde adquiera los alimentos deberá
señalar un valor mínimo de -18 °C.
■ Al hacer la compra, recuerde que
conviene adquirir los alimentos
congelados en el último momento.
Procure transportarlos directamente
a casa envueltos en una bolsa
isotérmica. Una vez en el hogar,
deberá colocarlos inmediatamente en
el compartimento de congelación.
Prestar atención al colocar los
alimentos
■ Congelar las cantidades grandes de
alimentos preferentemente en el cajón
superior de congelación. Dado que
aquí se congelan de un modo
particularmente rápido y cuidadoso.
■ Distribuir los alimentos ampliamente
en los compartimentos o los cajones
de congelación.
Nota
Los productos congelados no deben
entrar en contacto con los alimentos
frescos que se desean congelar. En
caso necesario, recoger y apilar los
alimentos congelados en los cajones
de congelación.
■ Con objeto de asegurar la circulación
del aire dentro del aparato, deberán
introducirse los cajones de
congelación hasta el tope en el
aparato.
