Bosch Power Tools 1 619 929 L07 | (16.10.12)
Operation
Pull the plug from the socket outlet and/or remove the
battery before carrying out adjustments on the power
tool or replacing accessory parts. Unintentional starting
of drills is the cause of some accidents.
After each adjustment on the drill stand, retighten the
bolts and locking handles.
Starting Operation
Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage of the pow-
er source must agree with the voltage specified on the
nameplate of the machine. Power tools marked with
230 V can also be operated with 220 V.
Switching On and Off
Insert the mains plug of the drill only into socket outlet
7. Switch the drill on and lock the On/Off switch of the
drill with the lock-on button. Otherwise, the drill cannot
be switched on or off via the motor On/Off switch 6 on the
drill stand.
Push the magnet On/Off switch 8 upward and check if the drill
stand adheres to the workpiece surface.
To start the drill, press the motor On/Off switch 6 to position
I”.
Note: The drill can only be started when the magnet has al-
ready been switched on.
To switch off the drill, press the motor On/Off switch 6 to po-
sition “0”.
Wait until the drill has come to a complete stop before push-
ing the magnet On/Off switch 8 downward in order to switch
the magnet off.
When not using the drill, switch it off in order to save energy.
Restarting Protection
The restarting protection prevents uncontrolled starting of
the drill after the power supply is interrupted.
For restarting the operation, press the motor On/Off switch
6 to position “I”.
Note: Resumption of the power supply.
Working Advice
For drilling, observe the operating instructions of your
drill.
The magnet holding force of the drill stand mainly de-
pends on the thickness of the workpiece. The thickness
of the material should not be less than 8 mm.
When drilling overhead or on surfaces that are not hor-
izontal, secure the drill stand with a safety chain. In
case of a power failure or excessive load, the holding force
of the magnet is not maintained. The drill stand can fall
down and cause accidents.
Centre-punch metal workpieces.
Rotate the drilling lever 1 to apply feed of the drill.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
Use the provided Allen key 14 to adjust the guide rail (see fig-
ure B). Loosen lock nuts 11 with the provided open-end span-
ner 13. Retighten the set screws 12 uniformly using the pro-
vided Allen key 14 and retighten the lock nuts 11 again.
Keep the drill stand clean at all times for good working results
and safe working.
If the drill stand should fail despite the care taken in manufac-
turing and testing procedures, repair should be carried out by
an authorised after-sales service centre for Bosch power
tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please always
include the 10-digit article number given on the nameplate of
the drill stand.
