■ The unit must not be damp and must not be

used in a wet environment. Store the unit in a

dry and frost-free place.

■ Before each use of the unit, check the cable

and plug. If damage is detected, do not use the

unit. Have repairs performed only by a quali-

fied technician. Never open the unit yourself.

■ Do not charge batteries of other manufactur-

ers. The appliance is only suitable for charging

Bosch NTC (NiCd/NiMH) batteries with volt-

ages between 7.2 V–24 V (Type 2411) or

7.2 V–14.4 V (Type 1419).

■ The battery must be inserted properly into the

charging compartment/adapter, must have

contact and may not be obstructed by foreign

objects.

■ As the battery charger heats up during charg-

ing, the unit must not be operated on easily in-

flammable surfaces (e. g. paper, textiles, etc.)

or in combustible environments.

■ Keep the charging compartment 5 free of for-

eign objects and protect it from debris and

moisture.

■ Do not carry or hang up the unit by the cable.

■ Never allow children to use the unit.

■ Bosch is only able to ensure perfect operation

of the unit, if the original accessories intended

for it are used.

Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of

the power source must agree with the voltage

specified on the nameplate of the unit. Equipment

marked with 230 V can also be connected to

220 V.
