using your
pressure cooker
Power Interruption:
In the event of a power outage during the HEAT or COOK cycle your
pressure cooker will remember the time that was remaining at the time
of the outage. If the power has been restored within 6 hours from the
outage the pressure cooker TIMER will restart where it left off. If the power
has been out for longer than 45 minutes reset the pressure cooker to the
time that was remaining on the TIMER display when power was restored.
This will allow the pressure cooker to reach pressure before the timer
restarts.
Adding Time:
You can add cooking time by simply pressing + or – during the standby
mode. If you need to adjust the time once preheat or cooking has started
press WARM/CANCEL and reset the time.
Warm/Cancel:
When pressure cooking is complete, the pressure cooker will
automatically switch to keep warm and stay in this mode up to 4 hours.
The TIMER will count the elapsed time the pressure cooker has been in
keep warm mode up to 4 hours. Once 4 hours has elapsed the pressure
cooker will revert back to Standby mode. To manually switch to keep
warm mode press the WARM/CANCEL button until the orange WARM
indicator light is illuminated.
Cooking Pot Markings:
Inside the removable cooking pot are two sets of markings. One side
is marked “2/3 MAX PC”, which indicates the maximum ll line when
cooking any food, other than rice in the pressure cooker. The other side
has markings for cooking rice. When pressure cooking rice, never ll the
pressure cooker more than 1/2 full.
