Starting the appliance
Connect the appliance to the power supply and press the power
button to switch it on.
The water supply must be opened up to the maximum pressure.
Adding your laundry and ll in the detergent.
Set the desired operating conditions.
Press the START/PAUSE button to start the operation.
Door lock
WARNING:
Never try to open the appliance door by force during the washing
process.
Once a wash program has started, the door can not be opened.
When the water temperature and the water level has reached a
certain value while pausing the operation, the door also cannot be
opened.
When the wash cycle is complete, the door lock is unlocked automati-
cally after a few minutes.
Program change
A change is not possible after a successful startup. To select a new
program, you must switch the appliance off and on again.
End of program
At the end of the wash cycle you hear a melody; after that the appli-
ance goes into standby mode. The door lock is unlocked.
Switch off
Switch the appliance off by pressing the power button.
Close the water supply!
Leave the appliance door slightly open until the next wash cycle to
avoid odors.
If the appliance is not in use for an extended time:
- disconnect it from the power supply.
Energy saving tips
If possible avoid the selection of high wash tem-peratures. Modern
detergents achieve good washing results even at low temperatures.
Select the wash program depending on the type of laundry and the
required degree of washing.
Take advantage of the maximum capacity of each wash program.
Clean the lter regularly to avoid excessive wash-ing and high
energy consumption.
Ventilate the room well. The room temperature should not rise
above +35°C.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power
supply before cleaning and user maintenance.
Allow the appliance to cool down sufcient before cleaning.
Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the appli-ance; moisture
could enter electrical components. Risk of electric shock! Hot
steam could damage the plastic parts. The appliance must be dry
before restarting operation.
CAUTION:
Do not use a wire brush or other sharp, abrasive items.
Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
NOTE:
Dirty or clogged lter degrades the washing result. Regularly check
and clean the lter.
Maintenance of the appliance
Clean the appliance outer surfaces and the door sealing thoroughly
with a soft, damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agent.
Check the drum regularly on dirt or ber residues. To clean the drum
using a cloth dampened with a little vinegar or a special detergent
for washing machines.
Recommendation: allow the appliance to run regularly (about every
three months) without loading e.g. in the program „Cotton 60°C“.
Dry the outer surfaces thoroughly before taking in operation again.
Cleaning the detergent drawer
Pull the drawer out until it stops.
Press down the lever in the chamber for the fabric softener and pull
out the drawer at the same time.
Wash the guide grooves and the chambers with water.
Use a soft brush to clean the housing.
Insert the drawer back again.
Cleaning the inlet lter
CAUTION:
Close the water supply!
Always check if the water hoses are properly re-installed and no
water leaks.
Inlet lter at the tap
Clean the lter when not sufcient water is supplied with opened
water valve.
Unscrew the inlet hose from the water valve.
Wash the inlet lter under running water.
Reconnect the inlet hose rmly.
Inlet lter at the appliance
Clean the lter regularly, about every one to three months.
Unscrew the inlet hose from the appliance back.
Clean the lter with a small brush.
Reconnect the inlet hose rmly.
Cleaning the drain pump lter
CAUTION:
The appliance must never be used without installed lter.
The foreign body trap in the drain pump prevents rinsed parts close
the drainage system. Clean the pump regularly, about once a month;
depending on use.
Check the foreign body trap if the water in the wash cycle will not
drained or with increased noise during the drainage.
First, let drain the water and disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
Open the lower cover.
Place a drip tray under to catch possible water leakage.
Turn the lock of the foreign body trap counterclockwise. Look for
leaking water!
