FITTING THE BATTERIES.-

This monitor uses two 1.5 volt

ALKALINE BATTERIES. To fit the

batteries, carefully insert the two “R-6”

type batteries into the battery

compartment (A), Fig.1, making sure

that the battery’s polarity is correct

(matching the battery’s “+” terminal

with the “+” sign inside the battery

compartment, and the “-” terminal with

the “-” sign). Replace the battery

compartment cover.

If, after having switched the monitor

on, it displays errors or merely partial

segments then remove the batteries

and wait for about 15 seconds before

reinstalling them.

Weak batteries (run down) produce a

weak digital display (poor contrast)

and erroneous readings. Change them

immediately.

Important. Deposit all spent batteries

or waste packaging in special

containers, Fig.2.

FITTING THE ELECTRONIC

MONITOR.-

FITTING THE HAND-GRIP CABLE.

Take hold of the Hand-grip connector

(Z), sticking out of the main post (6),

and plug it into (V) located at the back

of the monitor (P), as shown in Fig.3.

ATTACHING THE FEEDBACK

CABLE.

Take hold of cable (X), which is

sticking up out of the main post, and

plug it into the «sensor iNput»

connector (Y) at the back of the

electronic unit, as shown in Fig.3.

FITTING THE ELECTRONIC

MONITOR.

Remove screws (4), Fig.1, from the

base of the monitor, then slide the

front of the monitor onto the plate on

the main post (6), Fig.3, making sure

not to snag any of the wires, fit the

screws (4) removed previously and

tighten securely.

ELECTRONIC MONITOR.-

To give you greater control over the

exercise, this electronic unit gives

simultaneous read-outs of speed and

rpm alternating with distance, exercise

time, calories burnt and pulse rate.

The screen will switch itself on

automatically as soon as you start

exercising or by pressing any key on

the monitor. The monitor switches on

as soon as you start to exercise on the

machine.

The monitor will switch itself off

automatically if the unit stands idle for

more than 4 minutes, with the screen

displaying the date and temperature.

SETTING THE DATE.-

Press the RESET key for 3 seconds to

reset the monitor, the year value will

flash. Press the MODE/ENTER key to

adjust the value. Use the ▲▼ wheel

UP/DOWN to move on to the month,

use the MODE/ENTER key to adjust.

Use the ▲▼ wheel UP/DOWN to

move on to the day, use the

MODE/ENTER key to adjust. Use the

▲▼ wheel UP/DOWN to move on to

the hour, use the MODE/ENTER key

to adjust. Use the ▲▼ wheel

UP/DOWN to move on to minutes, use

the MODE/ENTER key to adjust.
