ELEMENTS OF THE
MONITOR.-
(Fig.8)
A: These five displays give a
simultaneous read-out of: Program
graphs; Elevation/Weight;
Calories/Pulse rate/Level; Speed/
Age; Time/Distance/Programs.
B: Quick access push-buttons or keys
for inclination settings (2-4-6-8-10-12).
C: The electronic monitor has nine
push-buttons or keys. ENTER;
INCLINATION (▲▼) MODE; FAN;
STOP/RESET; SPEED (- +); START.
D: Quick access push-buttons or keys
for speed settings (2-4-6-8-10-12).
(37): Safety key
STARTING.-
Plug the unit into a wall socket
equipped with an EARTH terminal. Set
switch (L) to Position [1], Fig.1.
The safety key (37) must be inserted
into its slot (E), Fig.2, otherwise the
machine will not operate. An upright
arrow on the central Program Profile
display will indicate the direction in
which to insert the safety key (37)
As soon as the safety key (37) is in
place (E), the machine will beep and
all of the displays will show a [00:00]
value, with the exception of INCLINE /
WEIGHT which will flash a value of
(70). Use the - + or ▲▼) keys to
select your weight between 23 130,
then press the ENTER key to confirm.
The heart symbol on the central
display will start to flash, indicating
that the machine is now READY.
CHANGE FROM
KILOMETRES TO MILES.-
With the heart symbol flashing on the
central display (A), press the ENTER
key for ten seconds to change km/h to
miles/h and kg to lbs by pressing the
(+ - or ▲▼) keys Followed by the
ENTER key to confirm it.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS.-
MANUAL MODE.-
Pressing the START key will light the
Central Program Profile lights (A) and
the machine will start within 3 seconds
at a speed of 0.8km/h. The circle of
lights on the monitor will light up in
accordance with the distance
travelled. One complete lap is
equivalent to 400 metres. You can
increase or decrease the speed
setting in MANUAL mode by pressing
the (+ or -) keys, between 0.8–20km/h,
you can also increase or decrease the
speed setting by pressing the quick
access keys (D), the said keys
correspond to values of 1-2-4-6-8-10
km/h.
By pressing the inclination keys (▲▼)
you can adjust the elevation level, for
values between 0-15. You can also
use the quick access inclination keys
(B) corresponding to values of 2-4-6-
8-10-12
Pressing the STOP key will stop the
machine. To restart the machine press
START. If you wish to leave the
machine in READY mode, press the
STOP button for more than 5 seconds
