– Bosi stopite na tehtnico in pazite, da stojite na obeh elektrodah. Najprej se

izmeri in prikaže vaša telesna teža.

– Še naprej mirujte na tehtnici, da se začne analiza deležev telesne maščobe

in vode. To lahko traja nekaj sekund.

Pomembno: Med stopaloma, nogama, meči in stegni ne sme biti stika.

Meritev je lahko sicer nenatančna.

Prikažejo se naslednji podatki:

– Telesna teža v kg (Slika 3)

– delež maščob BF v % (Slika 9)

– delež vode

v % (Slika 10)

– delež mišic

v % (Slika 11)

Zdaj se še enkrat zaporedoma prikažejo vse izmerjene vrednosti, potem pa se

tehtnica izklopi.

3.4 Nasveti za uporabo

Pomembne informacije pri določanju deležev vode, maščobe in mišic v telesu:

– Meritev je mogoče izvesti le z bosimi nogami, po potrebi z rahlo navlaženimi podplati. Popolnoma suhi

podplati lahko povzročijo nepravilne meritve, saj imajo premajhno prevodnost.

– Med merjenjem mirujte.

– Po hudih telesnih naporih, na katere niste navajeni, počakajte nekaj ur.

– Po vstajanju počakajte cca. 15 minut, da se voda v telesu porazdeli.

Meritev ni zanesljiva pri:

– otrocih, mlajših od 10 let,

– osebah z vročino, osebah, ki dobivajo dializo, osebah z edemom in osebah z osteoporozo,

– osebah, ki jemljejo zdravila za srce ali ožilje, osebah, ki jemljejo zdravila, ki krčijo ali razširjajo žile,

– osebah, pri katerih razmerje med dolžino trupa in dolžino nog močno odstopna od povprečja.

Priporočene vrednosti deleža maščobe v telesu

Za smernice uporabite naslednje vrednosti deležev maščobe v telesu (za več informacij se obrnite na

zdravnika!).

Pri športnikih pogosto naletimo na nižje vrednosti. Glede na vrsto športa, intenzivnost treninga in konsti-

tucijo lahko dosežete vrednosti, ki so nižje od podanih.
