11. Métodos de deteccón de fugas
Los sguentes métodos de deteccón de fugas se consderan
adecuados para sstemas que contengan refrgerantes nflamables.
Se deben utlzar detectores de fugas electróncos para detectar
refrgerantes nflamables, pero puede que la sensbldad no sea la
correcta o necesten ser recalbrados. (El equpo de deteccón debe
ser calbrado en una zona lbre de refrgerante). Asegúrese de que el
detector no sea una fuente potencal de gncón y que sea apropado
para el refrgerante utlzado. El equpo de deteccón de fugas se debe
establecer a un porcentaje del LFL del refrgerante y debe calbrarse en
relacón con el refrgerante empleado y el porcentaje de gas adecuado
(25 % máxmo) debe ser confrmado. Los líqudos de deteccón de
fugas son adecuados para utlzar con la mayoría de refrgerantes,
pero el uso de detergentes que contengan cloro debe evtarse porque
el cloro puede reacconar con el refrgerante y corroer las tuberías
de cobre. S se sospecha que hay alguna fuga, cualquer llama vva
presente debe ser apagada. S se encuentra una fuga de refrgerante
que requera de soldadura, todo el refrgerante debe recogerse del
sstema, o aslarse (medante las válvulas de cerre) en una parte del
sstema alejada de la fuga. Luego debe purgarse ntrógeno lbre de
oxígeno en el sstema antes y durante el proceso de soldadura.
12. Extraccón y evacuacón
Al acceder al crcuto refrgerante para realzar reparacones
(o para cualquer otro propósto), deben segurse los procedmentos
habtuales. Sn embargo, es mportante segur una práctca óptma
tenendo en cuenta la nflamabldad. Debe respetarse el sguente
procedmento:
