your pulse during the entire session. Select the
Fitness program as described above using the Plus/

during the 12-minute training session in
accordance with the user (male/female, age) and
the speed pedaled during the test.
If a correct measurement was not possible because
the pulse could not be measured continuously, the
display will show Fail.
H.R.C. TRAINING (HEART RATE CONTROL),
CONSTANT PULSE TRAINING
In this program, you can train using pulse control.
You can enter your target pulse rate or a % range.
Using the formula for the heart rate zone or the %
range, you can determine your individual target
pulse. The program increases the resistance during
training until you have achieved your preset pulse
rate, and then the program will maintain the
resistance at a constant level. All other values are
shown on Display 2.
A. Target percent range: 55% / 75% / 90% (Figure
).
B. Preset pulse rate, TAG, e.g., 130 (Figure ).
This program requires a USB stick and your
personal data to use. The machine must measure
your pulse during the entire session. Select the
H.R.C. program as already described using the
Plus/Minus buttons.
Press the Plus/Minus buttons to select the
percent range or TAG (preset pulse rate).
Press the Mode button.
When you have selected a percent range, the time
will blink.
Use the Plus/Minus buttons if you want to
train using a preset value or
Press the Start button to begin training
immediately.
If you have selected TAG, the pulse rate will blink.
Press the Plus/Minus buttons to select the pulse
rate.
Press the Mode button if you wish to enter
values or
Press the Start button to begin training without
preset values.
If you have selected the preset pulse rate, the pulse
rate is shown on Display 1.
Press the Plus/Minus buttons to make a
selection.
Press the Mode button.
The training time will blink.
Use the Plus/Minus buttons to enter values or
Press the Start button without input.
In either case (A / B), the resistance (Level) is
calculated and adjusted automatically. The bar
diagram on Display 1 shows the current resistance.
To adjust the resistance, the control panel requires
several seconds. This provides a gradual adjustment
for your pulse rate. If you are already training
at Level 1, the lowest level, but your pulse still
remains too high, the control panel will power off
after 30 seconds for safety reasons. You will also
hear an alarm signal.
USER TRAINING
In this program, you can create and store
individual profiles for the training session for six
users. A USB stick must be inserted.
Press the Start button when the control panel is in
Sleep mode. The background lighting is switched
off.
