The % ranges blink.
Set the desired % range using the +/- buttons.

Start as before and continue as described in item E.
The pulse rate (100) will blink.
Set the pulse rate at which you wish to train
using the +/- buttons.
Confirm using the Enter button if you also
wish to enter training values such as the time as
before or...
Press the Start button to begin training.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Entering training values is only possible in the
Stop mode (not during training). In the Stop
mode, the Park symbol is visible on the display.
You must have selected a program beforehand.
You can adjust the intensity (Level) 1 -- 16 even
while training.
The console needs about 10 seconds for
calculation purposes before it can display
the pulse rate. Of course, your pulse must be
measured using the hand pulse sensors, the ear
clip or the chest strap.
If you are not training and you have not pressed
a button, the console switches into the Sleep
mode automatically after four minutes. Then,
the room temperature is displayed.
You can reset all individual values to zero using
the Reset button if you have first pressed the
Stop button and the Park symbol is visible.
If you press and hold the Reset button for 3
seconds, the console switches to the beginning.
U (User) appears.
Automatic adjustment of the resistance (Level)
in the Target Heart Rate program (pulse percent
range) occurs upward every 30 seconds and
downward every 15 seconds. This provides a
gradual adjustment of the values.

If you train using count-down values for time,
distance or calories, a signal sounds eight times
at zero and the program stops. If you now press
the Start button, the console resets and counts
up.
Training with a set time and program profiles.
The set time is distributed across the 16 profile
bars. Example: 32 minutes for 16 profile bars
corresponds to 2 minutes before changing to the
next bar.
Training without a set time: In this case,
changing to the next profile bar occurs in
accordance with the distance traveled.
RECOVERY PULSE MEASUREMENT
Measure your recovery pulse after training. The
measurement can only be started if the pulse
measurement is activated and the pulse value is
shown on the display.
1. Start the recovery pulse measurement by pressing
RECOVERY.
2. The measurement takes 60 seconds.
3. After the measurement is finished, the display
shows the result F1-F6 (F1 = best result). Please
note that your results are in a relation to the
pulse level in the beginning of the measurement,
and that your results are personal and cannot
directly be C3ared with any other persons results.
In order to improve the reliability of recovery
pulse measurement, always try to standardize the
measurement situation as accurately as possible;
start measuring at the same heart rate level as
precisely as possible.
4. To switch back to the main display by pressing
RECOVERY.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Please follow these instructions when carrying
and moving the equipment about, because lifting
it incorrectly may strain your back or risk other
