Safety notes
The roof cleansing tape is an effec-
tive means to protection your roof
against moss and fungus. This man-
ual belongs to the product. It con-
tains important notes on handling the
roof cleansing tape.
Please read the safety instruc-
tions! These instructions will make it
easier for you to handle the device
appropriately and help prevent mis-
understandings and possible dam-
age or injury.
Please note the following safety
notes to avoid malfunctions, dam-
age or physical injury:
The roof cleansing tape has sharp
edges. Please always wear safety
gloves during this work and take
pre cautions against falling off the
roof.
Do not process the moos stop at
temperatures below 15°C and if
temperatures exceed 35°C.
Please use a second roof cleans-
ing tape band on roofs with a
depth larger than 7 meters.
For roofs made of reed, wood
shingle, cement asbestos or
other material a guarantee for a
proper functionality can not be
provided.
Mounting
1. Before you process the copper
roll, clean the roof tiles. Remove
dust, moss and other impurities
with a high pressure cleaner on a
25 cm wide stripe below the
ridge.
2. Make sure that the surface is
clean, dry and glue-able. The
surface material must not offer a
roll-off effect (Lotus or Nano
Effect).
3. A protective coating is required
for rain pipes made of zinc before
the roof cleansing tape tape can
be processed.
4. In any case it is important to per-
form a glue-test before xing the
roof cleansing tape tape for the
rst time. Remove a small part of
the protection lm at the back-
side of the copper spool and
attach it to the cleaned roof tiles.
When you pull it off again you
should see threads. In this case
the surface is suitable for the roof
cleansing tape.
