SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read all instructions.
Save these instructions for future
reference!
1. WARNING! This barbecue will
become very hot, do not move it
during operation.
2. WARNING! Do not use indoors! Only
use outdoors in well ventilated areas!
3. WARNING! Danger of carbon mon-
oxide poisoning. Indoor use will allow
toxic fumes to accumulate which can
cause serious bodily harm or death.
Never use this barbecue indoors,
even if ventilation is provided.
4. WARNING! Keep children and pets
away.
5. Do not leave infants, children, or pets
unattended near a hot barbecue.
6. Do not leave the appliance unattended
when in use.
7. WARNING! Do not use spirit or pet-
rol for lighting or relighting! Use only
relighters complying to EN 1860-3!
8. WARNING! Never use charcoal or
briquettes impregnated with starter
uid. Failure to follow this warning
may result in serious bodily injury,
death, or re, causing damage to
property.
9. Use good quality charcoal or briquettes to
light the appliance, preferably complying
with EN 1860-2.
10. Always place the barbecue on a rm,
heat-resistant and stable oor.
11. Keep combustible materials and inamma-
ble liquids away from the barbecue in use.
12. Keep it away from wooden objects, over-
hanging trees or ammable objects.
13. Make sure that the distance between the
barbecue and other objects is at least 2m.
14. Never grill on ames. Before grilling, wait
until the charcoal is covered with a thin
layer of white ash.
15. Do not use this barbecue unless all parts
are rmly in place.
16. Do not modify the barbecue. It is very
dangerous and not allowed to alter parts
of the barbecue.
17. WARNING! HOT SURFACE! The
barbecue radiates heat in all direc-
tions. Avoid body contact with all
surfaces of the barbecue.
18. WARNING! Always use gloves or
barbecue mitts to protect hands and
forearms while using the barbecue or
adjusting the air vents. Failure to
follow this warning may result in seri-
ous bodily injury or death.
19. Allow coals to burn out completely and let
the ashes cool for at least 48 hours before
disposing of them.
20. Do not wear loose clothing while lighting
or using the appliance.
21. Protect yourselves against the re and
steam when opening the lid or the door
when the barbecue is in use.
22. Do not use the barbecue in high winds.
23. WARNING! Do not spill any water
into the hot coals. This can cause
steam and ash to rise which could
cause serious bodily injury.
