FUNCTION
The domestic water stored in the enamelled internal boiler is heated by the electrical heating insert. The
user can pre-select the desired temperature via the adjustment knob. The heater automatically switches
on during the heating times specied by the locally responsible power utility and switches o again when
the desired tank water temperature has been reached. When the water temperature drops, e.g. due to wa-
ter being drawn o or natural cooling (kept as low as possible by the high-quality CFC-free PU-foam insu-
lation), then the heater switches on again until the pre-selected tank water temperature has been reached.
HOT WATER REQUIREMENT
The hot water consumption in a household depends on the number of persons, the sanitary equipment in
the home or apartment, the insulation, the piping and the individual habits of the consumer.
The following table provides a number of typical consumption values:

(A temperature of approx. 12 °C is assumed for the cold water being mixed to achieve the specied hot
water temperature.)
ENERGY SAVINGS
The high-quality environmentally-friendly CFC-free PU foam insulation and integrated temperature regu-
lation make our electric at storage tanks real energy savers. Low storage tank water temperatures are
especially economical. The continuously adjustable temperature should therefore only be set to the actual
hot water temperature required. This helps to save energy and reduces the rate of limescale formation in
the tank.
