Placing and Cleaning of the Device
Put the system telephone on a non slippery pad. It
might be possible that some plastics or colors
used on furniture are aggressive to the device feet.
This chemical reaction might cause damage to the
surface of your furniture. The manufacturer is not
taking any responsibility for this kind of damage.
If a cleaning is necessary, wipe the casing with a
damp cloth or use an antistatic cloth. Make sure,
no moisture will enter the casing.
Wall Mounting
The device is also made for wall mounting. You
have to remove the supporting post from the base
unit by releasing it with help of a biro, e.g. and then
remove it upwards (see pic. 12).
Put the drill template (page 31) to the requested
place and mark the 2 wholes on the wall (see
pic. 13). Make sure that there will be no supply
lines or cables in the area of the marks. Drill the
mounting wholes and put dowels into them.
Screw the screws in until the screw head has a dis-
tance of app. 3 mm to the wall. Then put the tele-
phone on the screws and pull it downwards on the
wall until it stops.
Move the disk on the hook switch as demonstrated
in pic. 14 by some millimeters away from the
device, until it can be rotated. Rotate the disk for
180° degrees until it locks again. Now hang the
receiver on the hook.
Settings for Use with an Auerswald PBX system
In case of a telephone call the telephone can dis-
play information transported with the telephone
connection such as telephone number and name
of the caller and date and time of the call and save
it in the caller list (CLIP). To be able to recognize
these information correctly, it needs a special call
