4.3 Making calls
1. Enter the required telephone number with a maximum of 20 digits using the number
pad. As the display is only capable of showing 12 digits, in the case of longer phone
numbers only the last 12 digits are displayed.
Note: If you have entered a number incorrectly, you can delete the number by repeatedly
pressing the button. The number is completely deleted by pressing the button for a long
time.
2. Press the call button and the required connection will be made.
Note: You can also get a dialling tone by first pressing the call button . On entering the
digits of your required phone number, your telephone will dial the number directly. With this
method of making a call, it is not possible to correct individual digits in the number in the
manner described above.
4.4 Handsfree facility
Press the call button during a call. You will now hear the person you are speaking to
over the loudspeaker in the handset.
Press the call button
again to switch off the handsfree facility.
4.5 Using two handsets
The two handsets have the internal numbers 1 and 2. This internal number is shown on the
right-hand side of the display. Incoming calls are signalled on both handsets. If the other
handset is already using the external line, it is not possible to make a further external call.
4.5.1 Making an internal call
You have connected two mobile units to a base station, and you will be able to make internal
calls without costs.
To do this, press the
button and then the number 1 or 2 of the required mobile unit. The
call is accepted with the call button
on the mobile unit called.
If an external call comes in while you are making an internal call, you will hear a series of
short signal tones and you will see the number of the caller in the display, if this is available.
End the internal call and accept the external call by means of the
button on one of the
mobile units.
