Atomos Ninja V – User Manual Edition 1: Aug 2021 36
AtomX
The AtomX menu page displays images of attached
AtomX Expansion Modules and their versions.
Attaching Modules
To connect an AtomX Expansion Module to your
Ninja V, attach it directly to the AtomXpansion Port on
your device. When a module is mounted, make sure
that it clicks into place. To remove an AtomX Expansion
Module, press the battery release button on the Ninja V
and gently slide the module upwards.
All AtomX Expansion Modules have a battery slot onto
which you can connect a compatible NP-F L Series type
battery or Atomos Battery Eliminator. The procedure for
attaching either of these is the same as when
connecting them directly to the Ninja V.
The battery latch on AtomX Expansion Modules will lock
the battery into place. To release the battery, slide latch
away from the battery and slide the battery upwards.
Stacking Modules
AtomX Expansion Modules also allow for stacking on top of one another.
This allows you to take advantage of the features of multiple modules at
the same time.
The AtomX menu will display the attached modules and the stacking
order.Specically,themoduleswillbelabelledonscreentoindicate
