How to use the pyro-clean program
Remove any accessories from the oven and wipe off any excess grime.
Check that the programmer displays normal time and that it is not flashing.
Turn the knob to the or eco position.
The pyro-cleaning cycle lasts for 1 hour 30 mins in
ECO
or 2 hours in
and the oven will be unavailable for 2 hours in
ECO
and 2 hours 30 mins
in .
This time includes the time required for the oven to cool before the door
opens.
During the pyrolysis cycle, the "lock" symbol on the display is shown, indi-
cating that the door is locked.
The pyrolysis cycle automatically stops when the locking symbol
disappears. It is then possible to open the door.
Turn the knob back to the
0 position.
When the oven is cool, use a damp cloth to remove the white ash. Your
oven is clean and is once again available for cooking purposes.
Note: the cleaning temperature cannot be modified. During the pyrolysis
cycle the light is turned off.
IMPORTANT:
Never hang linen or tea towels on the oven handle.
During the pyrolysis cycle the front of the oven gets hotter than
during a normal cooking session.
Young children should be kept well away.
How to carry out delayed pyro-cleaning
Follow the instructions given in the section entitled "How to use the
pyro-clean program", then:
Press the SET button. The pyro-cleaning end time flashes and the
symbol starts flashing to show that adjustment is now possible.
Adjust the pyrolysis end time by pressing on the + or - buttons.

: Set the pyrolysis end time for 4.00.
After doing this, the start of the pyro-cleaning session will be delayed to
ensure that this finishes at 4am. A series of beeps will be emitted at the
end of the pyrolysis session. The beeps can be turned off by pressing the
+ or - buttons.
When the pyro-cleaning session is complete, turn the knob back to the
0
position.
