2 Beschrijving
Deze boiler is ontworpen voor het opslaan en
verwarmen van drinkwater. In de boiler bevindt zich
een geïsoleerde binnenketel die10 liter water kan
bevatten. Een ingebouwde verwarmingsbron
verwarmt het water. Via de warm- en koudwa-
teraansluiting kan de boiler opgenomen
worden in een waterleidingnet.

2.4 Principewerking
Systeem onder druk (fig. 2.1)
Koud leidingwater stroomt via de inlaat-
combinatie in de boiler. Een thermostaat en
een verwarmingsbron zorgen dat het
water tot de ingestelde temperatuur wordt
verwarmd. Bij het verwarmen zet het
water uit, waardoor de druk in de boiler
stijgt. Deze overdruk wordt begrensd door
de ontlastklep van de inlaatcombinatie.
Drukloos systeem (fig. 2.2)
Bij deze toepassing wordt geen inlaatcom-
binatie gebruikt. Een speciale drukloze
mengkraan zorgt voor de afvoer van het
expansiewater.
Gedurende de opwarmperiode zal de kraan
dan ook druppelen totdat de ingestelde
temperatuur is bereikt.

Too hot water. - Thermostat is set too high. • Adjust thermostat switch.
Too little water. - Water pressure is too low. • Check whether the cold-
water taps have the same
problem.
• Contact the waterworks.
- Stop valve is not sufficiently open. • Open stop valve.
Relief valve keeps leaking. - Water supply pressure is too high. • Place a pressure reducing
valve before inlet combination.
- Relief valve does not close properly. • Operate relief valve a
number of times.

MALFUNCTION EXPLANATION ACTION
Table1: Table of malfunctions
4 Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Use a soft cloth with a non-aggressive
cleaning product to clean the outside of the
waterheater.
4.2 Inlet combination
Regularly check whether the relief valve
(Figure 2.1) is not obstructed in draining the
expansion water from the waterheater. In
order to prevent calcification in the relief
valve, you must operate it regularly.
There should never be any obstruction
for the expansion water to drip from
the relief valve. Obstructions may
cause inadmissible pressure building
up in the waterheater.
