Switching off
Switching off one cooking zone
e cooking zone is switched on. A power setting between 1 and 9, or ‘P.
is visible on the display.
1. Press and hold
and button of the cooking zone that you
want to switch off .
Or:
2. Choose cooking setting ‘0.’ with the
button.
A single beep will be heard and in the display it says ‘0.’. If all cooking
zones are in setting ‘0.’, the hob automatically is in stand-by mode
(also refer to ‘Stand-by mode’).
Switching off all cooking zones at the same time
e hob is in the stand-by mode, or one or more cooking zones are active.
1. Press the on-/off button for a short time
to switch off all
cooking zones at the same time.
A single beep will be heard. Not a single light is lit.
e hob has now been switched off .
Note
e hob can also be switched off when the childproof lock or the
pause mode is active.
Stand-by mode
In stand-by mode ‘0.’ is visible on the display of every cooking zone.
In the stand-by mode the hob is switched off and you can leave it
without supervision.
You can switch to the stand-by mode from the “off ” mode, or by
switching off all separate cooking zones (setting them to ‘0.’).
e hob automatically switches off after having been in the stand-by
mode for 10 seconds with any button being pressed.
OPERATION Settings
Switching the hob from the ‘off ’ mode to the stand-by mode
1. Press the on-/off button
of the hob.
A single beep will be heard and on the display of each cooking zone
‘0.’ will appear.  e red light to the top right of the on/off button
of the hob is constantly on.
2. From the stand-by mode you can directly start cooking by
pressing the
or button of the desired cooking zone.
(Childproof) lock
Your induction hob is equipped with a childproof lock that lets you
lock the appliance. It prevents unintended switching on.
With the
button you have access to the following two functions:
e (default) lock mode e childproof lock mode
Undesired changing of settings is
prevented with the (default) lock
mode.
Unintended switching on of
the hob is prevented with the
childproof lock mode.
All set cooking processes
remain active.
All cooking zones and the
kitchen-/egg timer are
switched off .
Switch the hob to the (default) lock mode.
One or more cooking zones are active.
1. Press the
button.
Attention: All set cooking processes remain active.
e red light to the right top of the
button and the on-/off button
is constantly on. All button are inactive, except for the
button
and the on-/off button
.
2. Again press the
button to switch off the lock mode and to
unlock the control panel.
Switching the hob to the childproof lock mode
e hob is in the stand-by mode. ‘0.’ is visible on the display of every
cooking zone.

button for a long time to switch on the childproof lock.
e red light to the right top of the
button is constantly on.  e
hob will switch off automatically if within 10 seconds no buttons are
pressed.  e childproof lock will remain active.
