During commissioning according to Grade 2 regulations the
receiver sensitivity should be reduced by -6 dB. This must be
done using Menu 13, Receiver Sensitivity.
Menu 6, Program Fob
Two and four-button fobs are programmed in a separate part of the
DGP zone database. Fob button sets can be programmed in any
combination of relays (outputs) and users:

Relay User
User User
A user (with a valid alarm group) represents a person (with
automatic access to arm and disarm allocated areas), and, is
identified as a user number from 1 to 65535.
When both button sets 1 and 2 are used for users, different users
with different alarm groups can be defined to arm and disarm
different areas.
Relays activate and de-activate devices (such as garage doors or
lights) and can be a number from 1 to 255.
After entering menu 6, select 1 of the 16 key fob numbers to
prepare the programming / learning mode.
Press both top fob buttons until the fob LED flashes to initiate the
fob. After a confirmation of 2 beeps the display will ask if you want
to program a user or a relay. Depending on the decision if the key
fob buttons will be connected to a user or a relay, fill in the relevant
user number or relay number. If finished, exit this menu by 0.
Menu 7, View Fob
This function allows you to view the user and relay details for
any fob.
Supervision Time
Introduction
A programmable supervisory signal checks the state of the
devices in the field. Transmitters send one supervisory signal every
15 minutes and are related to the lifetime of the battery in the
detectors.
The DGP has 3 menus for supervision:
Short supervision
Long supervision
Smoke supervision
The supervision timers in the sensors are ‘dithered’ by a small time
so that it will occur on a random basis with the effect of minimizing
collisions in larger installations.
Two and four-button fobs don’t transmit supervision signals
Supervision time cannot be set for individual sensors, only
individual Wireless DGPs.
The maximum is 32 hours.
The minimum is 20 minutes.
Menu 8, Short Supervision Time
Short supervision is used to disable arming if the DGP did not
receive a supervision message from a sensor within the short
supervision time (20 minutes by default).
Menu 9, Long Supervision Time
Long supervision will set a fault condition in the panel for a
sensor/zone which supervision timer expired (2 hours by default).
Program the supervision time to control how often the Wireless DGP
checks the sensor is communicating and in range of the Wireless
transmitter.
Menu 10, Smoke Supervision Time
Sets the supervision time for smoke sensors.
A smoke detector sends a supervisory signal every 64 minutes.
A smoke supervision will set a fault condition in the panel for a
sensor/zone which supervision timer expired (4 hours by default).
Program the supervision time to control how often the Wireless DGP
checks the sensor is communicating and in range of the Wireless
transmitter.
Menu 11, Supervision Options
The supervision function monitors sensors at the interval set up in
the previous procedure.
Long supervision and smoke supervision can be switched on or off
or disabled by the first relay of the Wireless DGP (Relay 17 for
DGP 1) to stop unwanted supervision fail messages.
The factory default for supervision is "on".
Two and four-button fobs do not transmit a supervision
signal: when fobs are programmed, they automatically set
supervision to "off".
Menu 12, Tamper Options
The DGP has three tampers:
The DGP cover tamper is always enabled.
The antenna tamper is always enabled.
The back tamper is a magnetically operated reed switch.
This back tamper is enabled by default and can be disabled by this
menu.
Both cover tampers and the antenna must be installed to clear
the DGP tamper.
Menu 13, Receiver Sensitivity
This menu is used to reduce the receiver sensitivity by -6 dB. This is
necessary for system commissioning according Grade 2
regulations. Select Low sensitivity (-6 dB) to decrease sensitivity
during commissioning. After commissioning select Normal
sensitivity.
Menu 14, DGP Settings
The DGP can be configured to one of the following modes:
Extended 16 zones
Standard 13 + 3 zones
Extended 32 zones
Standard 29 + 3 zones
In the extended modes the DGP reports low battery, long/smoke
supervision and smoke detector dirty for each sensor separately to
the panel. This enables the panel to handle these status information
for each zone.
In the standard modes the first 3 zones of a DGP are reserved to
report supervision, low battery and smoke detector dirty.
On a DGP with for instance address 1 the first 3 zone are reserved
for:
Zone 17 smoke sensors dirty. If any of the learned smoke
sensors reports dirty this zone alarms.
Zone 18 supervision. If any of the learned zones is in short
supervision state then this zone alarms. If any of the learned
sensors is in long supervision or smoke supervision state
this zone is in tamper alarm.
Zone 19. If any zone reports low battery this zone is in alarm
state.
