De iPod-software bijwerken of herstellen
U kunt de iPod-software bijwerken of herstellen met iTunes. Aanbevolen wordt om de software
van de iPod nano bij te werken met de meest recente versie. U kunt de software ook herstellen.
Hierbij worden alle instellingen van de iPod nano weer op de beginwaarden ingesteld.
 Als u de software bijwerkt, is dit niet van invloed op uw instellingen en nummers.
 Als u de software herstelt, worden alle gegevens van de iPod nano gewist, inclusief nummers,
video's, bestanden, foto's en alle overige gegevens. Alle instellingen van de iPod nano worden
hierbij weer op de beginwaarden ingesteld.
De iPod-software bijwerken of herstellen
1 Controleer of u een werkende internetverbinding hebt en of u de nieuwste versie van iTunes op
uw computer hebt geïnstalleerd (beschikbaar op www.itunes.com/nl/downloads).
2 Sluit de iPod nano op uw computer aan.
3 Selecteer in iTunes de iPod nano in de lijst met apparaten en klik op de tab 'Overzicht'.
In het gedeelte 'Versie' kunt u zien of de iPod nano up-to-date is of dat u een nieuwere versie van
de software moet installeren.
4 Klik op 'Werk bij' (Mac) of 'Bijwerken' (Windows) om de meest recente versie van de software te
installeren.
Belangrijk: Wanneer u de iPod-software herstelt, worden alle gegevens, inclusief nummers, van de
iPod nano gewist.
5 Klik, indien nodig, op 'Herstel' (Mac) of 'Herstellen' (Windows) om de beginwaarden van de iPod
nano opnieuw in te stellen (hierdoor worden alle gegevens op de iPod nano gewist). Volg de
instructies op het scherm om het herstelproces te voltooien.
