support stops.
The level of the desired motor support can be preselected before starting
the ride. There are 6 levels of motor support which can be selected at the
display by pushing the + and – button.
Level 1 approx. 15km/h LED LOW flashes
Level 2 approx. 17km/h LED LOW is on
Level 3 approx. 19km/h LED MED flashes
Level 4 approx. 21km/h LED MED is on
Level 5 approx. 23km/h LED HIGH flashes
Level 6 approx. 25km/h LED HIGH is on
The motor support at these levels is only available whilst pedalling. As soon
as pedalling stops, the motor support stops. The motor will start again
automatically when pedalling commences.
The quoted speeds are based on riding on a flat level surface. When
pedalling faster the motor support will be reduced. To achieve the listed
velocities when riding uphill more energy has to be expended.
When the brake levers included are activated the motor support stops im-
mediately. When other brake levers are used the motor support only begins
to stop when pedalling is halted.
Your EPAC-Bike can be used as a normal bicycle anytime (without motor
support). The motor is equipped with a free wheel (no expenditure energy is
necessary when pedalling).
When using just a bicycle it is not necessary to carry the accumulator/
battery or to switch it on. If you want to switch off the motor support while
riding, press the – button several times (until all of the 3 lights are off).
When the main switched is turned on the motor support can be activated
anytime by pushing the + button.
Use the included charger to recharge the accumulator/battery pack. First
remove the rubber seal cap from the charging plug. Connect the charger
with the charging plug. Charging begins as soon as the charger is connec-
ted with the power outlet. The charger is automatically reducing the charge
rate after it is completely charged. As soon as the red light turns to green
