The alarm clock then announces the complete weekday and
time setting.
Setting the alarm time and period
There are two alarm period settings (1 and 2)
available. You can set one of three alarm periods
available for each setting. The alarm time you have set
is automatically repeated on the days
defined in the alarm period. Refer to Point 6 below.
The alarm switch (3) must be set to ON before the
alarm can be set.
1. Use the sliding switch (24) to select an alarm period (Alarm
period 1" or Alarm period 2") This basically relates to the
days on which the alarm time you have set is active (refer to
Point 6 below).
2. Press the button (9) for 5 seconds. The alarm clock
announces the set hour.
3. Press the button (6) or (7) as often as necessary until the
required hour is set. The alarm clock announces the hour set.
4. Press the button (9) briefly. The alarm clock then announces
the minute set.
5. Press the button (6) or (7) as often as necessary until the
required minute is set. The alarm clock then announces the
minute set.
6. Press the button (9) briefly. The alarm clock then announces
the alarm period currently set.
There are three different alarm periods available:
Monday to Friday (1 − − 5), Monday to Sunday (1 − − 7)
and Saturday + Sunday (6 − − 7).
7. Press the button (6) or (7) as often as necessary until the
required alarm period setting is set. The alarm clock then
announces the alarm period setting currently active.
8. Press the button (9) briefly to conclude the setting procedure.
The alarm clock then announces the complete weekday and
time setting.
Selecting the alarm type (mode)
Use the sliding switch (16) to select the type of alarm. There are
three settings available, from left to right vibration only",
acoustic signal only" or acoustic signal + vibration".
Setting the volume
Turn the rotary knob (13) to set the required volume. Firstly, set
the volume to quiet" (turn anticlockwise) and increase the
volume slowly.
Exposure to the alarm at full volume for a long period could
cause ear damage.
Setting the acoustic signal
Turn the rotary knob (14) to set the required acoustic signal.
Setting the pitch
Turn the rotary knob (15) to set the required pitch for the acoustic
signal.
Use the rotary knobs for volume and pitch to select
settings whereby the alarm can serve its purpose with the
volume setting as low as possible. Depending on your
hearing, it is possible that you can detect higher or lower
pitch tones even at low volumes.
