1. COMPLETING THE MACHINE
1a. “MONO” models (Fig. 1)
Fit the sleeve (2) and the lower part (3) with
guard, placing the pin (3a) in one of the three
holes on the drive tube.
Fit the front handgrip (4) by using the screws (5).
Before tightening the screws (4), align the hand-
grip correctly with respect to the drive tube.
– Fully tighten the screws (4).
1b. “DUPLEX” models (Fig. 2)
Unscrew the central knob (1) and remove the
cap (2), taking care not to separate the two parts
of the handle bar support (3) and (4) so as not to
cause the release of the spring (5) from its seat.
Insert the handle bar (6), making sure that the
controls are on the right.
Set the handle bar in the working position and
lock it using the cap (2) and knob (1).
Fasten the casing (7) of the controls to its cable
fastener (8).
NOTE
By loosening the knob (1),
you can turn the handle bar 90° to reduce its size
for storage.
2. MOUNTING THE ROD
(Models with separate rod – Fig. 3)
Pull out the stop pin (1) and push the lower part
of the rod (2) right down until the stop pin (1)
slots into the hole (3) in the rod. This is easier to
do if you rotate the bottom of the rod (2) slightly
in both directions. The pin (1) is in place when
it is completely lodged in the hole.
– Lastly, tighten the knob (4) securely.

the end of the drive tube (4) and apply the plate
(2) fastening it with screws (1), without tighten-
ing them, so that the guard is free to slide on
the tube.
Set the guard (3) by bringing the central screw
(5) in correspondence with the hole (6) located
on the drive tube and fully tightening it so that
it remains completely inserted in the hole, pre-
venting the movement of the guard.
Fully tighten the screws (1).
Cutting line head (Fig. 5)

When using the cutting
line head the additional guard, with line cut-
ting knife, must always be tted.

from the guard (3).
Position the guard (3) in correspondence with
the end of the drive tube (4) and apply the plate
(2) fastening it with screws (1), without tighten-
ing them, so that the guard is free to slide on
the tube.

(5) in correspondence with the hole (6) located
on the drive tube and fully tightening it so that
