Once you have read the message, the following options are given: delete, reply, forward the message to
another person, archive the message, save the animation, sound, pictures, etc… save the sender’s number.
You can reply to any message using a “Voice/Vox MMS”.
7.3 Sent messages
All sent messages.
7.4 Unsent messages
All messages to be sent or failed messages. If you type an MMS while on the phone, you must go to
“Messages/Unsent” after hanging up in order to send it.
7.5 Drafts
All drafts messages.
7.6 IM (Instant messaging)
As IM includes Presence whereas the other messaging services don’t, IM is described separately on page 46.

All archived messages.
7.8 Templates
A list of predefined messages are available. Select one, edit it if required, and then send it. You can also
create your own predefined messages.
7.2 Inbox
All received messages (read and unread) are stored in the same Inbox.
When viewing your messages, you will find the following status icons, depending on the type of message:
unread text message (SMS/MMS/e-mail), read text message (SMS/MMS/e-mail), unread e-mail
with attachment, read e-mail with attachment, message reception in progress, message sending
in progress.
The following icons are added to the master icons according to type: attachment, MMS attachment,
sound attachment, copyrighted data.
Receiving and reading SMS/MMS/e-mail
When you receive a new message, the following message is displayed: “You have received a new
message!”, or you may have a specific alert for each type of message received (E-mail, Message), a beep
sounds, the icon shows up, a line with the number of messages appears on the screen. Select this line
and press to read it directly from the main screen. To modify or deactivate the audible signal, see page
50.
You have two ways of managing the reception of MMS:
- National (in your network)
- International (if abroad)
For both, you can choose to “Always download” or “Always defer” (we recommend choosing “Always
defer” when abroad).
