7.4.2 MMS Parameters
• MMS profiles (“Profile:”)

: To set your MMS profile, follow the same procedure as for setting your
WAP connection (see page 71).
• Mode: choose between immediate or deferred reception for national network coverage, or between
immediate or restricted reception for international network coverage (see page 38).
• Acknowledgment of receipt (“Rpt:”): request for acknowledgement of receipt for each message
sent.
• Message validity (“Val:”): the time period during which attempts to send the message to the recipient
will be repeated in case of failure.
• Memory (“Mem:”): to store automatically your sent messages.
• Timer: sets the speed at which the pages scroll through: the recipient will see the message at this speed.
• Filters: Anonymous MMS filtering: to receive or not anonymous messages
• Layout configuration: choose between display: image first then text or text then image.
7.4.3 Saving parameters
You can change the save parameters for your messages:
- Sent SMS are stored by default in the product:
Select “SMS parameters” and “Mem:” to choose “SIM memory” or “Phone memory”, or “Not
saved”.
- Sent MMS are stored by default on the product:
Select “MMS parameters” and “Mem:” to choose “Phone memory” or “Not saved”.
