11.5 GPRS function
Your mobile phone has an efficient high-speed modem based on GPRS technology

will be able to surf faster on the WAP and send your MMS more quickly.This service may be billed at a
different rate (contact your operator for more information).
You can only use the GPRS function if:
1) the service is developed by your operator,
2) if your subscription includes the GPRS option,
3) if the profiles have been entered and the transmission mode selected is set to GPRS or GPRS/GSM (see
page 66),
The icon appears when the GPRS context is active.

If you selected the GSM transmission mode, you must fill in the following parameters:
- GSM user name

- Password

- Telephone number
- Access type
- Transmission speed
If you selected the GPRS/GSM transmission mode, you must fill in both the GPRS and GSM parameters.
11.4 Direct access/profile access
By selecting Customisation/Settings/WAP/GPRS,you can access the menu that will allow you to change
the launch parameters for your WAP service.
• Direct access: when you launch WAP from the main screen, you go dir
