Turn the rotary volume switch clockwise to power on and adjust the sound level for
comfortable reception.

䵕 How to start the country switching (European Multi-standard support)
Both versions are prepared to use the
present
and future
European Multi-
standard codes. This new European
standard will come into force around
middle of 2011. Poland (Po), Spain and
Italy (E setting) allow already the future
AM setting with 4 Watts, while other
countries with settings
dE
and
EU
have
still 1 Watt AM.
To change to the new 4 Watt AM Power in
all country settings, it is necessary to open the
lower
cabinet side of the radio and to
place the 4 Watt jumper into the “close” position.
Please use only the present country codes until the new setting will be published as
allowed. It is still illegal to use any radio with a country selection switch in Austria (latest
info November 2010). For Austria, we deliver a fixed FM version on request. If you are
in doubt, select
EC
setting and use only FM.
• Switch the Power on, while keeping the required button pressed for each
country setting
• Then release button(s) again
