DISPLAY INFORMATION
If you press DISPLAY on the main unit, or press DISPLAY while
pressing SHIFT on the remote control, the display changes as
follows.
WHEN LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1 Level indicator
2 Band and frequency
(Example: FM 89.00MHz)
3 Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: Rem –48:07)
• Displayed for 4 seconds, only when a non-finalized CD-
R or CD-RW is loaded in the CD-R/RW player/recorder)
• If a finalized CD-R or CD-RW is loaded, "FINALIZED" is
displayed, and if a conventional CD is loaded, "CD-DA"
(Compact Disc Digital Audio) is displayed.
• When a disc is loaded in the CD-R/RW player/recorder:
The level indicator will be displayed only when 4 seconds have
elapsed after the band and frequency are displayed.
WHEN THE SOUND SOURCE IS CD
In stop mode
1 Total number of tracks and total playing time of the disc
(Example: CD 10Tr 58:31)
2 Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: Rem –48:07)
• Displayed for 4 seconds, only when a non-finalized CD-
R or CD-RW is loaded in the CD-R/RW player/recorder)
• If a finalized CD-R or CD-RW is loaded, "FINALIZED" is
displayed, and if a conventional CD is loaded, "CD-DA"
(Compact Disc Digital Audio) is displayed.
In play mode
1 Level indicator
2 Track number being played and elapsed playing time
(Example: CD 3Tr 3:43)
3 Remaining time of play
(Example: CD –26:15)
4 Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: Rem –48:07)
• Displayed for 4 seconds, only when a non-finalized CD-
R or CD-RW is loaded in the CD-R/RW player/recorder)
• When a non-finalized CD-R or CD-RW is loaded in the CD-R/
RW player/recorder:
The level indicator will be displayed only when 4 seconds have
elapsed after the track number being played and elapsed playing
time are displayed.

• The remaining playback time of CD is not displayed while
performing one track recording or programmed recording.
WHEN RECORDING FROM THE RADIO
OR CONNECTED EQUIPMENT TO CD-R
OR CD-RW
1 Level indicator for the source
2 Source name
(Example: AUX)
3 Remaining recordable time on CD-R or CD-RW
(Example: RCD –52:33)
4 Track number and elapsed recording time on CD-R or CD-
RW
(Example: RCD 5Tr 4:36)
