Protect the machine from frost and rain. With temperatures below zero, the valves
can freeze to the pump which may cause damage to both motor and pump.
Notice: insufficient air supply, too high temperature and fouling of the air
filter reduce the efficiency of the compressor considerably.
3.1 ELECTRIC CONNECTION L/LM/KM/BLM
At the factory the machine is already fully equipped with cables. The machine now
has to be connected to your own electricity supply. Beware that voltage and
amperage of your electric circuit meet the needs of the motor. For that check
technical details. Use only cables with the right diameter. The factory advises to
use cables of at least 2,5 qmm.
Before first use first read chapters 3.2 and 4.0.
3.2 AIR CONNECTION
The compressor is equiped with an air reduction/filter combination with two
closable air connectors (except type L 5-90).
Best use for connection of the compressor to an air circuit a flexible hose, to
isolate fibrations from the machine. The diameter of the hose must meet the
diameter of the air connection on the compressor. For quickly attaching and
unattaching of hoses and pneumatic tools it is well advised to use quick-couplings.
4.0 FIRST USE
1 Check if the instructions mentioned above have been executed.
2 Check the oil level of the compressor. Possibly oil has been lost during
transport. The oil level has to be between the upper side of the oil level glass
(12) and the red dot. If necessary, fill with AIRPRESS compressor oil.
3 V-belt models: check the tension on the V-belt. At the right tension the V-belt
can easily be turned by hand approximately 45 degrees. If necessary improve
tension (see chapter 6.0 point 5).

5.1 FUNCTIONING
When the pressure switch (2) is turned on at an air pressure of 0 bar/psi, the motor
(8) will start. The motor is directly connected to an one, two or three cylinder pump
(11).
When a specific pressure has been achieved, the pressure switch automatically
stops the motor and relieves the internal air circuit from pressure. When air is
being used, pressure will drop. When low enough, the pressure switch will start the
compressor again automatically.
With the reduction valve (5) you can reduce a too high air tank pressure to a
desired working pressure. The step less adjustable pressure can be read from a
