After deciding on the place of installation, open the housing of the
IP alarm module and first remove the PCBs from the rear side by
carefully bending the upper PCB holder upwards until the PCB can
be removed.
Using the rear housing side as a template, mark the fixing holes on
the wall. Fix the IP alarm module to the wall, but do not tighten the
screws yet.
Connect the IP alarm module to the 12 V power supply.
Replace the PCBs and tighten the screws.
Carry out the necessary programming (see point 6).
Following successful programming, the piezo signaller on the IP
alarm module beeps at short intervals. Replace the cover at this
point, then close the housing.
After around 5 seconds, the piezo signaller emits a double tone
and confirms the programming.
5. Programming: Wireless
Program the IP alarm module step-by-step as follows. Firstly,
connect the module to the power supply (12 V PSU). Then carry
out programming.
5.1 Starting programming
Proceed as follows to start programming:
4. Make sure that the cover contact is open.
The green power supply LED lights up (PSU).
5. Press SELECT.
LED number 1 also lights up blue.
