Recommendations
To secure that GEWA Connect is always active and working, you should:
• Ensure that GEWA Connect is always active, don’t use Power save settings or
App optimisation.
• Ensure that GEWA Connect is always compatible with Android, disable automatic
updates of system software and apps.
• Ensure that GEWA Connect remains active, have the smartphone connected to a
power supply and the screen turned on.
• Make sure that the screen lock works with scanning. If not, don’t use it.
• Make sure that apps to be used can be used with scanning. If an app is not scanning
compatible, try another one from Google Play Store.
• Ensure that virtual keyboard is shown. In the general settings for keyboard in Android
it must be set that virtual keyboard is shown even when a physical keyboard is
connected (Multibox).
Multibox preparation
1. Charge the Multibox battery if necessary, see chapter 7. Multibox.
2. Connect the external switch into port SW1.
