1.4 Inserting Batteries

Unscrew the battery lid screws on the back of your Control Medi

using a screwdriver and insert three AAA batteries (alkaline LR03

1.5 V). Insert the batteries according to the guidelines at the bottom

of the battery compartment. Pay attention to the polarity! It is

important to use long life alkaline batteries that are protected against

leaking battery acid.

1.5 Battery Warning Indicator

Control Medi has a built-in indicator to warn you of low battery

voltage. You will hear a sound alert with one long beep and

three short beeps played twice. This occurs about 10 seconds after

the transmitter was last used. Replace the batteries as soon as

possible.

2. Settings

Below is described how to program your Control Medi for different setting options.

To enter the programming mode, you should first press the Level button

simultaneously press the button

for 2 seconds for your desired setting option (see

below). When you release the buttons a “Setting” alert is heard, and the indication lamp on

the button for the setting option flashes. An “Error” alert will sound if you select an invalid

setting option.

This is followed by different button presses depending on what is to be set, see the separate

descriptions below.

It is important not to wait too long between the different steps when programming. After a

certain time your Control Medi automatically leaves the programming mode to save power.

If your programming is successful, a “Success” alert will sound. If something has gone

wrong or takes too long, an “Error” alert will sound.

2.1 Alerts when programming

Whilst you are programming, your Control Medi gives feedback with flashes and different

alerts:

“Setting” - (three increasing tones).

“Success” - (three positive tones).

“Error” - (eight negative tones).

2.2 Cancel Programming

To cancel the programming, you can press the Level button

and keep it pressed for two

seconds. It works as a Reset button.
