1. Introduction
The Gewa Control Medi Standard is a programmable IR transmitter, which replaces
ordinary remote controls for TV, DVD, stereo etc. It has in all 28 different programming
positions on four levels. Simply press the buttons to send signals, and change level by
pressing the Level button. You can also connect an external control switch that can directly
control one button on the transmitter.
The Control Medi is a part of the “GewaLink system” and therefore can be used together
with all of these products.
1.1 News and improvements
The Gewa Control Medi transmitter is a further development of previous Gewa IR
transmitters. The Control Medi is a new design with an improved transmission range.
The Control Medi is available in three different models. The most advanced feature has
eight buttons and four levels giving a total of 28 programmable positions. It also has the
possibility to send radio (GewaRadio), and a built-in scanning option for people that cannot
press the buttons directly. The simplest model has 4 or 2 buttons (two different keyguards).
When you press a button, confirmation is given as vibration, sound and light.
