Using ConnectCaddy App

1.1 Introduction

Zyxel device in this User Guide refers to the Zyxel models that the ConnectCaddy mobile app supports.

These include:

• XMG3512

• XMG3563

ConnectCaddy app helps you to:

1 View all the devices, wired or wireless, connected to the home network

2 Change the WiFi network name and reset the password

3 Enable a guest WiFi network, create or reset the name and password for the guest WiFi network and

view guest clients

4 View basic information about all client devices connected to the network

5 Allow, block or schedule internet access on any of the client devices

6 Advance network diagnostic tools that include WiFi Signal Strength Meter and WIFi Interference Chart.

1.2 Installing ConnectCaddy App

Install ConnectCaddy from Google Play or the Apple App store. Then tap the ConnectCaddy

icon(Figure 1.2.1) to

start the app.
