LABEL DESCRIPTION
Router Local IP
IP Address Enter the LAN IP address you want to assign to your AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T in dotted
decimal notation, for example, 192.168.1.1 (factory default).
IP Subnet Mask Type the subnet mask of your network in dotted decimal notation, for example
255.255.255.0 (factory default). Your AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T automatically computes
the subnet mask based on the IP Address you enter, so do not change this field unless
you are instructed to do so.
Dynamic Route RIP (Routing Information Protocol) allows a router to exchange routing information with
other routers.
Select the RIP version from RIP1, RIP2-B and RIP2-M.
Direction Use this field to control how much routing information the AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T
sends and receives on the subnet.
Select the RIP direction from None, Both, IN Only and OUT Only.
Multicast Multicast packets are sent to a group of computers on the LAN and are an alternative to
unicast packets (packets sent to one computer) and broadcast packets (packets sent to
every computer).
IGMP is a network-layer protocol used to establish membership in a multicast group. The
AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T supports IGMP v1, IGMP v2 and IGMP v3. Select Disabled
to turn off the feature.
DHCP
DHCP If set to Enabled, your AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T can assign IP addresses, an IP default
gateway and DNS servers to operating systems that support the DHCP client.
If set to Disabled, the DHCP server will be disabled.
If set to Relay, the AMG1001-T/AMG1011-T acts as a surrogate DHCP server and relays
DHCP requests and responses between the remote server and the clients.
