1.2 How and for which purpose you may use
the appliance
The hand blender is used exclusively for chopping, puréeing
and mixing food in normal household quantities. Any other
use is considered improper and puts the operator at risk of
serious accidents. The hand blender is intended solely for pri-
vate use and is not suitable for use in a commercial setting.
1.3 Children and certain categories of persons
There is an increased risk of injury for certain groups of persons:
This appliance must not be used by children. Keep both the
hand blender and the power cable away from children.
The hand blender may only be used by persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capacities or by persons
who lack experience and/or knowledge if such persons are
carefully supervised, have been instructed beforehand in
the safe use of the hand blender and have understood the
hazards that may result from use:
– Danger due to electrical voltage
– Danger due to rotating blades
Disconnect the hand blender from the mains if you are not
supervising it.
Do not ever allow children to play with the hand blender.
The cleaning and maintenance of the hand blender must
not be carried out by children or by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience
and/or knowledge.
Keep children away from the packaging material.
It poses a risk of suffocation!
