Avoid serious injuries due to contact of body parts with the components of the bike
C A U T I O N
Risk of injury from reaching into the
drive chain.
Never reach into the drive chain while riding.
When riding, parts of the body or other objects may come into contact with the sharp teeth of the
sprockets, the moving chain, the rotating pedals and cranks and the rotating wheels of the bike. This
can lead to serious injuries.
- Take care when riding that parts of your body do not come into contact with these compo-
nents of the bike.
Avoid serious injuries caused by damaged components
When riding off-road or over kerbs, the electric motor, cranks or bottom bracket may touch the
ground and be damaged. This can lead to serious injuries.
- Use the bike only on the approved surfaces.
- If you encounter obstacles, dismount and lift the bike over the obstacle.
- In the event of damage, have the bike inspected by a dealer.
Avoid serious injuries or death in wet weather
C A U T I O N
Wet and/or slippery roads and paths influence the road grip and
braking behaviour!
Wet weather affects road grip, braking behaviour and visibility for both cyclists and all other road us-
ers. In wet weather, the stopping power of your brakes (as well as the brakes of all other road users)
is significantly reduced. In addition, the tread pattern does not grip nearly as well as on dry roads.
This makes speed control more difficult and increases the risk of losing control over the bike. This
may cause serious injuries or even death.
- Always ride slowly in wet weather.
- Always brake carefully and with foresight in wet weather.
- Switch off the electric motor or ride carefully with minimum motor assistance.
