The achievable range with the support of the pedal assistance depends, for example, on the follow-
ing factors:
- Total weight of the bike including rider and luggage
- Selected assistance level
- Tyre pressure
- Battery charge state
- Route profile
- Weather
- Tailwind, headwind
- Your own pedalling effort.
To achieve the furthest possible range, proceed as follows:
- Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
- Ensure that the tyre inflation pressure is set correctly.
- Avoid the use of the pedal assistance on flat or downhill stretches of road, or select a low
level of assistance.
- Select the appropriate gear for the riding situation.
- Drive with foresight to avoid unnecessary stops and the associated starting.
Riding without pedal assistance
You can use your bike even without pedal assistance. To do this, you only need to switch off the pe-
dal assistance. You can then use your bike as a bike without pedal assistance, e.g. when the battery is
empty.
