Uittreksel van het Wegenverkeersreglement

Volgens de StVZO (Straßenverkehrs-Zulassungs-Ordnung = Wegenverkeersreglement) mag een fiets alleen op de openbare wegen rijden, als hij

uitgerust is met:

 Twee van elkaar onafhankelijk werkende remmen,

 Een helder klinkende fietsbel,

 Een goed functionerende koplamp (nominaal vermogen 3 Watt, nominale spanning 6 Volt),

 Frontreflector (wit), voor zover niet in de koplamp geïntegreerd

 Goed functionerend achterlicht (rood),

 Twee reflectoren achter (rood), waarvan een grote reflector (Z-reflector),

 Per twee spaken een reflector (geel) resp. reflecterende zijstroken (wit),

 Pedaalreflectoren (geel).

WAARSCHUWING

Het naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften van het Wegenverkeersreglement moet absoluut in acht genomen worden. Voor zover uw fiets niet

is uitgerust volgens de bovengenoemde kenmerken, mag u deze NIET in het openbare wegverkeer gebruiken.

Volgens het Wegenverkeersreglement moet elke verkeersdeelnemer zich zo gedragen dat niemand anders in gevaar gebracht, geschaad, lastig

gevallen of gehinderd wordt.

1.Gebruiksdoeleinde en inzetbeperkingen

ALGEMENE INZETBEPERKINGEN

Uw fiets is niet bestemd voor de volgende inzetdoeleinden:

 Zandterrein (zandkorrels kunnen beschadigingen aan lagers veroorzaken)

 Water (trapassen en naven mogen niet onder water gedompeld worden)

 Zouthoudende omgeving (bijv. zeewater aan het strand)
