Adjusting Your Call Settings

settings to configure the call options.

Select the default ringtone for
incoming calls.

incoming calls.

Check this option to enable
vibration when the phone is
ringing.
Voicemail
Service
Select voicemail service
provider.
Setup
Edit the voicemail
number.
Sound
Set the notification sound
for new voicemails.

Set the condition for
vibration.
Dialpad
touch tones
Check this option to enable the
phone dial pad sound.
Quick
responses
Edit the text message that you can
send to the caller while rejecting
his/her call.
Fixed Dialing
Numbers
Check this option to enable FDN,
change the PIN, or manage your
phone number list.
TTY mode
Your phone is a TTY compatible
device. A TTY device can allow
people who have hearing or speech
disabilities to communicate by
telephone. Simply connect the TTY
device to the phone’s headset jack.
Select a TTY mode for your phone
to work with a TTY device, or turn
TTY off.
Hearing aids
Check this option to turn on
hearing aid compatibility.
DTMF tones
Set the length of dual-tone multi-
frequency (DTMF) signal tones.
Speed dial Set speed dialing keys.
Auto answer
Set to answer incoming calls
automatically.
Call Barring
Settings
Select this option to forbid certain
types of calls from your phone.
Call
forwarding
Forward your incoming calls to a
different number. And choose when
to forward: Always forward,
Forward when busy, Forward
when unanswered, or Forward
when unreachable.
Additional

Caller ID
Select to show or hide
numbers.

Check to enable
notification of incoming
calls while on a call.
Accounts
Add an Internet (SIP) account, or
check to receive incoming calls.
Use Internet
calling
Set your internet calling preference:
For all calls when data
network is available, Only
for Internet calls, or Ask for
each call.
IMS Account
View and change your IMS account
settings.
You can add contacts on your phone and synchronize
them with the contacts in your Google account or other
accounts that support contact syncing.
To see your contacts, press the Home Key >
. From
there, you can tap the tabs to quickly switch to your
contact groups
or favorite contacts .
Checking Contact Details
1. Press the Home Key > .
2. Scroll through the list to view all your contacts.
3. Tap a contact to view its details.
NOTE: If you have a lot of contacts stored, you’ll see
a slider on the right side of the screen. To go directly to
a letter, tap and hold the slider and drag it to a letter.
Adding a New Contact
1. Press the Home Key > .
2. Tap
to add a new contact.
3. Tap the account field to choose where to save the
contact. If a sync account is selected, the contacts
will be synced automatically with your account
online.
4. Enter the contact name, phone numbers, email
addresses, and other information.
5. Tap DONE to save the contact.
Setting Up Your Own Profile
You can create your own name card in your phone.
1. Press the Home Key >
> .
2. Tap Set up my profile or your name, whichever is
at the top of the contact list.
3. If you tapped your name, tap Edit. Otherwise, edit
your profile information and tap DONE.
Importing, Exporting, and
Sharing Contacts
You can import/export contacts to/from your phone
storage, SIM card, or microSDHC card. This is especially
useful when you need to transfer contacts between
different devices. You can also quickly share your
contacts using Bluetooth, Email, Messages, etc.
Importing Contacts From the
SIM Card
1. Press the Home Key > .
2. Tap
> Import/Export > Manage SIM card
contacts.
3. Select an account in which to save the contacts.
4. Tap > Export to phone.
5. Select the contacts you need and then tap
.
