In de hoogte verstelbare duwhandvatten (Fig. 4.20)
Die duwhandvatten zijn in hun positie beveiligd door pinnen die
voorkomen dat ze per ongeluk wegschuiven. Door de quick
release-hendel te openen (1), is het mogelijk de duwhandvatten
aan te passen aan uw persoonlijke voorkeur. Wanneer u de
hendel beweegt, zult u een vergrendelingsmechanisme horen;
u kunt het duwhandvat nu makkelijk in de gewenste positie
brengen. De moer (2) bepaalt hoe stevig de duwhandvatten op
hun plaats gehouden worden. Als de moer losgedraaid is, zal
ook het duwhandvat te los zitten. Draai het duwhandvat naar
beide kanten om u ervan te vergewissen dat hij stevig op zijn
plaats zit.
OPGELET!
Nadat u de hoogte van het duwhandvat heeft ingesteld, moet u
de fixatiehendel (1) altijd stevig op zijn plaats vastmaken. Als de
hendel niet stevig vast zit, kan hier letsel uit voortkomen als de
rolstoel over obstakels wordt getild.
OPGELET!
Controleer voor gebruik de klemkracht (schroeven) van de
verstelbare duwhandvatten.
Duwhandvat
Zijkanten, aluminium, met een bout met bescherming tegen
koud weer (Fig. 4.19)
Kledingbeschermers (optioneel) voorkomt dat water
spettert en de kleding vuil maakt.
Hun positie ten opzichte van de achterwielen kan ingesteld
worden door de zijkanten aan te passen.
Hiervoor dient u de schroeven (1 en 2) te verwijderen. De
armsteunen (optioneel) kunnen aangepast worden tot de
gewenste hoogte nadat de schroeven zijn verwijderd. Als
u klaar bent, moet u controleren of alle schroeven stevig
aangedraaid zijn (zie de pagina over torque sleutel).
OPGELET:
Noch de armleuningen, noch de opvulkussens mogen worden
gebruikt om de rolstoel te tillen of te dragen.
Aanpasbare rugbekleding (Fig. 4.18)
De spanbanden kunnen aangepast worden tot elke graad van
spanning door middel van het klittenband. Door middel van de
opening in de rugbekleding kan er foam worden toegevoegd of
worden verwijderd voor ieders individuele behoeften.
OPMERKING!
Als de bekleding van de verstelbare rugleuning te strak
gespannen is, is de rolstoel moeilijker op te vouwen.
