Antes de encender la estufa, mire siempre el indicador de combustible para
comprobar si en el depósito extraíble queda suficiente combustible (Verde=lleno,
Rojo=vacío).
Encienda la estufa siempre con el regulador . No utilice nunca cerillas o un
mechero.
Proceda como sigue:
1 Gire el regulador hacia la derecha hasta alcanzar el tope (fig. L).
Aplicando cierta presión, podrá girarlo algo más; sin embargo, volverá
automáticamente a su posición tope. De este modo, la mecha se colocará en
la posición más alta y la seguridad entrará en funcionamiento.
Si al encender la estufa, la chispa de la bujía se apaga casi de inmediato, deberá
sustituir las pilas. Se recomienda usar pilas alcalinas nuevas (4 unidades, tamaño D).
Aunque se haya utilizado la estufa algunas veces el mando regulador no se queda
fijo en su posición. Antes de encender la estufa gire el mando regulador (fig. M)
totalmente hacia la izquierda. Posteriormente, para encender la estufa, gire el
mando regulador totalmente hacia la derecha (capítulo C).
Antes de encender la estufa, controle siempre si la cámara de combustión está
bien recta, moviendola con ayuda del asa un poco a la izquierda y derecha (fig.
E). Esto se efectuará sin ninguna dificultad. Si la cámara de combustión está desni-
velada, se producirían humos y hollín.
D LA COMBUSTION DE LA ESTUFA
Después de encender la estufa, se debe esperar entre 30 minutos para comprobar
que la estufa está funcionando correctamente. Sólo entonces se podrá comprobar
si la estufa quema debidamente (fig. R).
Si la estufa no sube lo suficiente, se debe ajustar la altura de la mecha.
(vea capítulo F).
Las posibles causas de una llama demasiado baja son:
escaso combustible (llene el depósito)
combustible de mala calidad (consulte a su distribuidor)
insuficiente ventilación (entreabra una puerta o ventana)
desgaste de la mecha (consulte a su distribuidor o cambiar
mecha, capítulo M)
Si no hay ventilación suficiente en el lugar, la estufa se apaga automáticamente.
Una vez se mejore la ventilación del lugar (p.ej. abriendo un poco una puerta o
una ventana) podrá volver a ponerse en funcionamiento la estufa.
Esta estufa está equipada con un sistema de seguridad que genera que la
estufa se apague cuando el depósito de combustible no esté puesto (fig. G).
Para que su estufa arranque otra vez, coloque el depósito y consulte el manual
de instrucciones capitulo C.
