Als de verbranding te laag blijft, moet de koushoogte worden bijgesteld
(zie hoofdstuk F).
Een te lage verbranding kan ontstaan door:
te weinig brandstof (vul de tank)
slechte brandstof (raadpleeg uw dealer)
te weinig ventilatie (zet een raam of deur op een kier)
slijtage van de kous (raadpleeg uw dealer, of vervang de kous,
zie hoofdstuk M)
Wanneer in de ruimte onvoldoende geventileerd wordt, dan zal de kachel
automatisch uitschakelen. Na het verbeteren van de ventilatie (b.v. door een deur
of raam iets verder te openen) kan de kachel weer ingeschakeld worden.
Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een veiligheidssysteem dat de kachel uitschakelt
wanneer de wisseltank uit de kachel genomen wordt (fig. G). Om de kachel
opnieuw te ontsteken dient u het reservoir terug te plaatsen in de kachel en de
instructies te volgen zoals aangegeven in hoofstuk C.
E HET UITZETTEN VAN DE KACHEL
U schakelt de kachel uit door de UIT-toets in te drukken. De vlam zal dan na
enige tijd vanzelf doven (fig. N).
F HET VERSTELLEN VAN DE KOUSHOOGTE
Na verloop van tijd is de verbranding niet meer hoog genoeg (hoofdstuk D). In dat
geval kunt u de koushoogte verstellen om de verbranding te verbeteren. Hiervoor
dient de kachel uit te zijn. U gaat als volgt te werk:
1 Druk de UIT-toets in (fig. N).
2 Trek de draaiknop van de kachel, zodat de koushoogtevergrendeling
zichtbaar wordt.
3 Neem de plastic ring tussen duim en wijsvinger en trek deze naar voren. Draai
de ring één stap hoger naar stand 2 of 3 (fig. O). Druk de ring voorzichtig aan,
zodat de uitsparing weer om het palletje sluit.
4 Duw de draaiknop voorzichtig op zijn plaats. Dit kan maar op één manier:
bekijk de achterkant van de dop voor de juiste positie.
Als het verstellen van de koushoogte niet het gewenste effect heeft, moet u de
kachel helemaal laten leegbranden (hoofdstuk H).
Blijft de verbranding ook dan nog te laag en staat uw kous inmiddels op stand 3,
neem dan contact op met uw dealer of vervang de kous, zie hoofdstuk M.
Als de verbranding na het bijstellen te hoog wordt (fig. R), moet u de koushoogte
vergrendeling weer een stand lager zetten. Anders hebt u kans op rook- en
roetontwikkeling.
