Gebruik de kachel bij voorkeur niet bij windstil of mistig weer, omdat het
rookkanaal dan wellicht niet voldoende trekt om de kachel goed, veilig en ef-
    
komt of het kan tot andere problemen leiden, eventueel zelfs buiten uw pand.
Oververhitting van de kachel kan schade aan de kachel en de omgeving veroorzaken.
Oververhitting van de kachel is meestal het gevolg van te veel hout in de kachel en/of
een te ver geopende hoofdbeluchtingsschuif. Voorkom dat de kachel oververhit raakt.
De kachel is ontworpen voor normaal gebruik met een gesloten laaddeur. Veilige
werking en optimale efficiency kunt u alleen met een gesloten laaddeur realiseren.
De laaddeur dicht houden voorkomt bovendien dat er brandende of hete deeltjes
uit de kachel ontsnappen.
D.3 EISEN DIE GESTELD WORDEN AAN DE BRANDSTOF:
 
of geperst zaagsel met een vochtgehalte van minder dan 20%. Gebruik geen
vers, pas gehakt hout. Niet goed gedroogd hout veroorzaakt creosoot, meer
roet, meer vervuiling en leidt tot een lager rendement. Hout wordt geacht
droog te zijn als het tenminste 2 jaar in een droge, goed geventileerde om-
geving is opgeslagen.
 
