1. DE KOUS / LEEGBRANDEN
Om de levensduur van de kous te verlengen, moet u de kachel van tijd tot tijd
eens helemaal laten leegbranden (tot hij vanzelf uitgaat). Doe dit wanneer u
merkt dat de vlam wat zwakker wordt. Het leegbranden veroorzaakt enige geur,
dus het is raadzaam dit buiten de leefruimte te doen.
2. DE ONTSTEKINGSSPIRAAL
De ontstekingsspiraal gaat langer mee als u op de juiste manier ontsteekt.
Vervang op tijd de batterijen en let erop dat u de ontstekingsschuiven niet te
krachtig naar beneden duwt. Als de gloeidraad gebroken is, dient de spiraal ver-
vangen te worden.
HET BRANDSTOFZEEFJE
Controleer ook met enige regelmaat het brandstofzeefje.
Haal de wisseltank
º uit de kachel en verwijder het brandstofzeefje (fig. K). Dit
kan wat nadruppelen; houd een doekje bij de hand. Klop het brandstofzeefje
omgekeerd leeg op een harde ondergrond, om het vuil te verwijderen.
(Nooit
reinigen met water!)
Plaats het brandstofzeefje weer in de kachel.
Verwijder zelf geen onderdelen van de kachel. Neem voor een eventuele
reparatie altijd contact op met uw dealer.
Laat de kachel afkoelen voordat u onderhoud pleegt.
H OPSLAG (EINDE STOOKSEIZOEN)
Wij raden u aan de kachel aan het einde van het stookseizoen helemaal leeg te
branden en daarna goed op te bergen. Volg daartoe de onderstaande aanwijzingen:
Maak de kachel aan buiten de leefruimte en laat hem geheel leegbranden.
Laat de kachel afkoelen.
Maak de kachel schoon met een vochtige doek en droog deze af.
Haal de batterijen uit de kachel
µ en bewaar deze op een droge plaats.
Reinig het brandstoffilter
(hoofdstuk G).
Berg de kachel stofvrij op, zo mogelijk met de originele verpakkingsmaterialen.
Overgebleven brandstof kunt u een volgend stookseizoen niet meer gebruiken.
Houdt u toch wat over gooi deze brandstof dan niet weg, maar volg de regels zoals
die in uw gemeente gelden voor Klein Chemisch Afval. Begin het nieuwe
stookseizoen in elk geval met nieuwe brandstof.
Als u de kachel opnieuw in
gebruik neemt, volg dan weer de instructies
(zoals aangegeven vanaf
hoofdstuk A).
