eem het brandstofhevelpompje en steek de gladde, meest stugge pijp in de
jerrycan. Zorg dat deze hoger staat dan de wisseltank (fig. H). De geribbelde
slang steekt u in de opening van de wisseltank.
Draai de knop bovenop het pompje vast (naar rechts).
Knijp enkele keren in het pompje, totdat de brandstof in de wisseltank
stroomt. Als dat eenmaal het geval is, hoeft u niet meer te knijpen.
Let tijdens het vullen op de brandstofmeter van de wisseltank
µ (fig. I). Als u
ziet dat deze vol is, stop dan met vullen door de knop boven op het pompje
weer los te draaien (naar links). Maak de tank nooit te vol. Vooral niet als de
brandstof erg koud is (brandstof zet uit als deze warmer wordt).
Laat de brandstof die nog aanwezig is in het pompje, terugstromen in de
jerrycan en verwijder het pompje voorzichtig. Schroef de tankdop nauwkeurig
op de tank. Veeg eventueel gemorste brandstof weg.
Controleer of de tankdop recht zit en goed is aangedraaid. Plaats de
wisseltank weer in de kachel (dop naar beneden). Sluit het deksel.
C HET AANMAKEN VAN DE KACHEL
Een nieuwe kachel veroorzaakt in het begin extra geur. Zorg dus voor extra venti-
latie of ontsteek uw kachel de eerste keer buiten de leefruimte.
Als u de kachel voor de eerste keer gebruikt, moet u na het plaatsen van de
gevulde wisseltank zo’n 30 minuten wachten met aanmaken. Zo kan de kous
zich volzuigen met brandstof. Dit geldt ook nadat u de kachel helemaal leeg
hebt laten branden en na het vervangen van de kous.
Kijk vóór het aanmaken van de kachel altijd even op de brandstofindicatie
² om
te weten of u eerst de wisseltank moet bijvullen.
Maak de kachel altijd aan met behulp van de ontstekingsspiraal

Gebruik nooit lucifers of een aansteker.
U gaat als volgt te werk:
Draai de draaiknop
ᕢ naar rechts tot aan de aanslag (fig. J). Met enige
dr
uk zou u de draaiknop dan nog wat verder kunnen draaien; deze veert
dan echter vanzelf terug.
Zo zet u de kous in de hoogste stand en stelt u de beveiliging in werking.
Druk de ontstekingstoets
» in (fig. K), maar niet te hard. Zodra een
vlammetje in de verbrandingskamer
¿ zichtbaar wordt, kunt u de
ontstekingstoets loslaten.
